Multidisciplinary Artist

I have proudly spent my whole life living and creating in Chicago, IL. Instead of a traditional art school education I decided to hone my craft and immerse myself in the graffiti world. The majority of my teenage and young adult life was dedicated to painting highly visible spaces. My visual fixations and misadventures included: subways and subway cars, prominent spaces/institutions, and high risk environments. I dedicated many years to this lifestyle and in doing so became a prolific graffiti writer in my own right. I then came to a point in which I was faced with a profound dilemma: Continue down this road, seeking immortality in vain, getting arrested, fighting, stealing, and getting investigated OR take a different road entirely. After some monumental events, I found myself being represented and praised/hated in a multitude of mediums including being characterized in theater. I’ve always felt a calling to a larger and more refined expression and once I decided to take the other road I found myself indoors. In the midst of recovering from betrayal, statute of limitations, and court cases I was forced to utilize my solitude to evolve. At this point in my career I still utilize spray paint but I am no longer a one trick pony. I am a multi-disciplinary fine artist specializing in but not limited to: Graphite, Charcoal, Acrylic, Oil (particularly the antiquated Flemish method, and Sculpture (in wood and alabaster) Digital - Illustrator, Photoshop, procreate (digital painting/Stop motion animation) and Nomad Sculpt. This is only the beginning.
